Blog Policy
The Media Law Center for Ethics and Access blog is intended for media professionals and students to discuss ethical issues in modern journalism. In order to ensure all users have a positive experience, we require all users to understand and abide by the following rules:
- We reserve the right to monitor all blog submissions and approve and post those that we feel add to a constructive discussion about the journalism ethics topic at hand. We reserve the right to reject submissions and refrain from posting those that stray from the topic or do not add anything of substance to the discussion.
- Profanity, vulgarity or offensive content in any form will not be tolerated and will result in the rejection of blog submissions. We reserve the right to define what we feel is profanity, vulgarity and offensive content.
- Blog users are responsible for their own submissions. Be mindful of their content.
- Disagreement can be beneficial and add to discussion, but be mindful of language and respectful of fellow users’ opinions.
- Do enjoy the blog! We hope it will facilitate discussions on important issues in today’s media.
